Well, not directly.  Baker Academic Books is part of the Baker Publishing Group, an established publisher based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  They had heard good things about Joomla! and were waiting for the right project to try it out.  The moment came.

Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture

For their ongoing Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture book series, Baker needed a site that could grow into the next decade as the series expanded.   Baker asked SuperHouse to put together a website for the series, and they love how easy it is for them to make minor changes themselves.

“SuperHouse Media is a fantastic partner for providing a flexible platform to market an important new book series for Baker Academic. From concept through finished project the fine gentlemen at SuperHouse proved professional, patient, and thorough. The best part? I can update the content management site they built for me, minimizing ongoing cost while maximizing ongoing flexibility.”

JAG is a construction company based in North Carolina.  They are on the Green Building Council and focus on sustainable practices.  One sustainable process is water conservation.  A little known, but growing, method for conserving water is the use of rain barrells.  JAG saw a need, and began plans to manufacture their own barrels.

Palmetto Rain Barrels was born.

JAG asked SuperHouse media to develop a website and online store.  We connected them with a designer for their logo and then put Joomla! to work for them.  We utilized the e-commerce services of Volusion to customize an online store.

Check it out.  Buy a rain barrel and conserve some water.  Someday it will probably be against the law not to.
